Rebuild the corner of your business that's costing you the most. AI-ready in 3 to 4 months.
What it is
A 3-to-4-month engagement that rebuilds the corner of your business that's costing you the most. We confirm the corner during the Enterprise Readiness review. We do the work alongside your team. At go-live, your internal team owns the rebuilt system and the validation tooling that comes with it.
We work fast because of how we work, not because we cut corners. Our internal tooling is how a small team delivers a transformation in months instead of years. The tooling is not something we sell; it is how we deliver.
What "AI-ready" means in practice
Three things, all verifiable at go-live:
- Clean information — the data and records AI works against are complete, current, and traceable. AI doesn't make up answers because the answers are findable.
- Safe access — every AI action runs under a named identity with the right permissions. AI can't do what it shouldn't, and what it does is logged.
- Built-in validation — the foundation includes tooling that catches AI drift and hallucination. We run it against our own work as we build; it stays in place for your future AI efforts to run against.
How it works
-
Anchor
We confirm the corner the Readiness review recommended, set the success criteria with your leadership team, and stand up the working environment. By end of week 2 you can see what is going to be built and how we will know it is done.
-
Inventory
We catalogue what exists today inside the corner — information, connections, controls. The gaps become a written document you and your team review together.
-
Build
The corner is rebuilt area by area. The validation tooling is built alongside it. Your team works alongside ours; ownership transfers continuously, not at the end. By the close of week 14 the new version is running in a safe testing environment with validation running against the work.
-
Go-live
The new version takes over from the old. The validation tooling is in place. The team is trained. We hand off the documentation, the playbooks, and the keys.
What it costs
A fixed fee, quoted at the close of the Enterprise Readiness review after we understand the system, the gaps, and the date you want to be live.
No change orders for in-scope work. Out-of-scope changes are quoted as additions. The price is what the price is — we will not negotiate scope down to hit a target; if the work does not justify the cost, the Readiness review will have told you so.
What you own at go-live
When the transformation goes live, you own everything we produced. Nothing about the system depends on Grovestack continuing to be your vendor — and any partnership that does continue is by your choice.
- The source code lives in your repository from day one. You hold administrative ownership. You can add or remove contributors, copy it elsewhere, archive it, or take it private at any moment. Your access to the source does not depend on us.
- The cloud infrastructure is in your accounts. The new system runs in your Azure / AWS / GCP subscription. Domain registration, certificates, encryption keys, database backups, and identity records all live in accounts you control.
- Documentation, playbooks, and automated tests transfer with the system. If we are no longer your team, another team can pick up the work without losing access to anything required to operate, change, or extend it.
- If you do want us to keep helping, Ongoing Advisory is there — a maintenance retainer or a fractional AI architect, at whatever level fits. It's an option, not a requirement.
The first gate is at our risk, not yours.
After the Enterprise Readiness review and its written Scope, the first working version of the rebuilt system is built at our expense — running on your real data, exercising your real workflows. You see what we are proposing to build, against your business, before the transformation engagement begins. Every subsequent payment is gated on capability already live in your environment.
Common questions
What if we don't know which corner to start with?
The Enterprise Readiness review finds it.
What if our system is built on technology your team doesn't know?
We will say so during the Readiness review and decline the transformation.
Are you on-site or remote?
Primarily remote. Most of the work lives in code, documents, and structured working sessions — we rarely need to be in the room. When travel is genuinely useful (a workshop, a leadership session, a cutover), we come. Travel costs are passed through at cost.
Who's on the team?
A small, senior team led by Grant Parry, supported by our internal tooling so a handful of people deliver what would normally take a much larger group. Specialized project members are added when an engagement requires them. Bios available on request.
What happens after the transformation ends?
Ownership transfers to your team at go-live. Ongoing partnership is available — a maintenance retainer, a fractional AI architect, or staff mentoring — at whatever level fits. You choose; nothing about the system depends on it.
How do you think about pricing?
Fixed fee, quoted live, no change orders for in-scope work. We price what the work requires. We do not negotiate scope down to hit a target; if the engagement doesn't justify the price, the Readiness review will tell you so before you commit.
Start with Enterprise Readiness.
We don't take on a transformation without an Enterprise Readiness review first. The review tells us whether the work, the scope, and the timing actually fit.
