The Method · Area 5 of 7
Your visibility
What "AI-ready" looks like in this area
- AI actions show up in the same observability surface as human actions and system events.
- When a customer reports a bad answer from an AI, you can find that exact interaction and reconstruct it.
- AI behavior drift is a metric, not a discovery.
What we typically find on Day 1
- Logs that exist but nobody looks at, because there is no signal in the noise.
- Audit trails that capture human actions but not the AI actions running alongside them.
- Customer-reported AI failures that cannot be reproduced because the original input was not captured.
What changes during a Business Transformation
- AI input and output get logged in a structured form, with enough context to reconstruct the situation.
- Drift detectors run continuously: same input, same situation, different output last week vs. this week — that is a signal that surfaces.
- Latency, error rates, and abandonment get measured at the workflow level, not just at the model call.
What stays the same
- Your existing observability stack stays. We extend it; we do not replace it.
- If you have a SIEM, AI events go into it. If you have an APM, AI metrics go into it.
- We do not introduce a parallel "AI observability" product. AI is part of the system; its visibility is part of the system's visibility.
How this area connects to the rest
This is one of the seven areas an Enterprise Readiness review examines. The reference architecture that shows how all seven fit together is the agentic stack. The discipline that makes every engagement run the same loop is the repeatable process.
